Here is a wedding at the Château de Varennes that I would like to share with you on this beautiful sunny day. I was very pleased with the discovery of the Château de Varennes and the welcome by the team of Patricia Tellez, the wedding planner responsible for the magnificent wedding of Carley and Ian, was exceptional. The Château de Varennes is located in the magnificent Burgundy region.

Arrived from Paris, it only took me 1h30 to reach Dijon. The small town of Dijon is very pleasant city with its museums and atypical alleys, I share with you all my adventures and my travels on my Instagram account. I invite you to subscribe, you will see we laugh well! I regularly share my marriages and vicissitudes (especially the vicissitudes!). If you are getting married next year in the Dijon region, I will be honored to come back to discover this beautiful region by your side for your wedding day!

Varennes Castle has been named by CNN and Luxworldwide among the ten best reception places in the world! I arrived without real apprehension I especially like to let me discover a place without spoil! And what a feeling of space and well-being when you arrive on the domain! Belonging to the same family for four centuries, it was recently renovated and now accommodates up to 250 guests! The possibility of also fitting out certain spaces can provide even more capacity. The Château de Varennes due to its elegance and its location near large vineyards makes it an exceptional choice for your wedding!

I especially like secular ceremonies during a wedding, because these are times when families publicly reveal their love. It’s not always easy to say I love you, but it’s an essential thing that we all need. Our newlyweds Carley & Ian chose a calm and gentle ceremony with two words from their friends. Parents will speak during the meal, an excellent idea that allows for entertainment and sharing throughout the day between the bride and groom and their loved ones.

After spending a beautiful ceremony in the heat of burgundy, make way for a cocktail, this famous moment of relaxation during the wedding. A moment that I particularly appreciate because the guests are quicker to be photographed, and to give me the opportunity to make a much more natural portrait of them.

What I really like during the wedding is being able to blend in with the guests and feel a little bit among the family. The shots are easy and I like this side “during the action”, it allows me to vary with my more aesthetic and delicate approach. Contrary to what you might think, I never put people in photos. I accompany those who have trouble with the goal. As a wedding photographer, I must be able to be little present during these cocktail moments, but also assertive when the couple needs it to do their couple session. This is also the job of a wedding photographer.

The Château de Varennes is a remarkable place to spend a couple photo session. The beautiful couple Carley and Ian, gave me little time to do this session because of the inclement weather in the middle of the afternoon. At the end of the day, however, a magnificent clearing and a sumptuous sunset will allow us to enjoy a privileged moment directly from the gardens of the château de Varennes. This will allow us to have incredible photos of our two soulmates.
